Your privacy
Your therapist sees the name you choose. Nothing more.
Anonymity is not a setting you have to find. It is how Ndu Well works, from the moment you sign up.
- A username and an icon — no photograph of you, ever.
- Your email address and phone number are never shown to a therapist.
- Your real name is yours to share, only if and when you want to.
- Your journal stays private unless you choose to share an entry.
Before you begin
You are probably wondering.
Most people arrive with the same few questions. Here are honest answers, before you give us anything.
More in how it works and the help centre.
Will anyone know it is me?
No. You choose a username and an icon, and that is all your therapist sees. Not your name, your email address or your phone number. If you ever want your therapist to know your real name, you can choose to share it, and it stays between the two of you.
What if I cannot wait for an appointment?
Choose Quick Therapy and you will be connected with a licensed therapist who is available now. It is a shorter conversation, and a good way to begin.
How do I know the therapists are qualified?
Every therapist on Ndu Well has their practising licence and identification checked by a member of our team before they can take a session. The badge on their profile means a person has seen the documents.
What will it cost?
Each therapist's price is shown on their profile before you sign up. A Quick Therapy conversation is ₦2,500. There is no subscription to join and nothing to pay until you book.
Do I have to speak out loud?
No. You can talk by chat, by voice, or both, and you can decide each time. Many people only ever type, and their therapy is just as real.
What if it does not feel right?
You are free to choose a different therapist for your next session. If something went wrong in a session, you can raise it with us afterwards, and a member of our team will look into it personally.

Licensed to practise? People are looking for you.
Work with clients across Nigeria and beyond, on your own hours, by chat or voice. Every therapist is reviewed by our team before joining.
You do not need the right words to begin.
Start anywhere. The person listening has heard many beginnings, and finding the words together is part of the work.
