These terms apply to therapists who practise on Ndu Well, in addition to our Terms of use and Privacy notice. By applying, you agree to them.
Who may practise
- You must hold a current licence or registration with the relevant Nigerian professional body, and keep it current while you practise on Ndu Well.
- You apply with your licence, identity documents and qualifications. Our team checks them before your profile is listed. Once submitted, your name, licence and documents can only be changed by our staff.
- You practise as an independent professional. You are responsible for your professional conduct, your clinical judgement, your records and your taxes. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee.
Your profile and prices
- You set your own prices, between ₦5,000 and ₦100,000 for a voice and chat session. A chat-only price defaults to 30% of your voice price, and cannot be lower than ₦1,500.
- You set the hours you are available. Clients can only book the times you have opened.
- Your profile must be accurate. Clients see your photo, name, specialties, experience, languages, prices and reviews.
- Your profile is listed only while you have a payout account in your own name.
What you earn
For every completed session:
- A platform fee is taken first: ₦700 for a voice and chat session, ₦300 for a chat-only session, and ₦300 for Quick Therapy. This covers calls, recording and the service.
- Of what remains, our commission is 25% for single sessions, 25% for weekly plans and 25% for Quick Therapy.
- You keep the rest.
When a client cancels late or does not join, the part of the price that is not returned to the client is shared with you after commission, with no platform fee. Referral rewards come from our commission, never from yours. The fee and commission for a booking are fixed when it is booked.
Getting paid
- Earnings can be withdrawn 7 days after a session, so that any concern about it can be settled first.
- The smallest withdrawal is ₦5,000. Withdrawals go only to an account in your own name, which we confirm with Paystack.
- When you change your payout account, withdrawals are held for 6 hours and we email you, in case the change was not made by you.
- We do not pay out in cryptocurrency, and we do not accept or pay money outside Ndu Well for sessions booked through it.
Being on time
- The room opens 10 minutes before the start. Please be in the room at the start time.
- If you join more than 5 minutes late, the client still receives the full length of the session, and a fine of 10% of the session price applies.
- If you have not joined 10 minutes after the start (3 minutes for Quick Therapy), the session counts as missed and a fine of 25% of the session price applies.
- Fines are taken from your balance or from future earnings. You may appeal any fine once.
- Cancelling or moving sessions at short notice lowers your reliability. A profile that often changes sessions at short notice may show that to clients.
Quick Therapy
Taking part in Quick Therapy is your choice. While you are available, requests are offered to a few therapists at a time for a short period. The first to accept takes the session. Declining keeps your place in line; requests left unanswered twice in a row switch you to away.
Care, safety and confidentiality
- Keep everything a client shares confidential, except where the law or a serious risk to someone's safety requires otherwise.
- Clients are anonymous by choice. Do not ask for, or try to find out, a client's real name, contact details or location, and do not contact a client outside Ndu Well.
- If a client appears to be at risk of serious harm, direct them to emergency help and follow your professional obligations.
- You may read a session back for 48 hours after it ends, or while you have a plan with that client. You may not download, copy or record sessions.
- Letters are limited to one before each session and one follow-up within 6 hours after it.
Concerns and reviews
Clients may raise a concern within 7 days of a session. You are told, and you may give your side. Raising one opens that session's messages to the team handling the case; neither you nor the client can close them again, and both of you are judged on the same record. If a concern is upheld, money returned to the client may be recovered from your earnings for that session, and a fine may apply. You may ask us to look again at a review you believe breaks our rules.
Ending your time on Ndu Well
You may stop practising at any time by closing your availability and telling us. Please keep or hand over sessions already booked. We may pause or remove a profile for a breach of these terms, a lapsed licence, or a serious complaint. We tell you why, and you may appeal once by writing to support@nduwelltherapy.com.
Changes and contact
When we change these terms, we publish the new version with the date it takes effect, and for an important change we ask you to accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions: support@nduwelltherapy.com.
