About us
Ndu means life.
In Igbo, ndụ bụ isi: life comes first. Ndu Well exists so that anybody carrying something heavy can speak to a licensed therapist privately, affordably and without having to explain who they are.
Many people never speak to a therapist. Not because they do not need to, but because of what it might cost them: money, time, and being seen walking through the door.
Ndu Well removes the door. You can talk from wherever you are, by writing or by voice, under a name you choose. The therapist on the other side is licensed, has been checked by a person, and has agreed to rules that protect you.
We built it in Nigeria, for Nigerians at home and abroad, with the care a place like this deserves.
What we hold to
Six promises, kept in the design.
Not a list of values on a wall. Each of these is a rule the platform itself enforces.
Anonymity is the default
Asking for help should not cost anybody their privacy. You choose a username, and your real name stays with you unless you decide otherwise.
Every therapist is checked
A person on our team reads each therapist's licence and identity documents before they can take a single session.
Prices are honest
What a session costs is on the profile before you sign up, and what happens to your money if plans change is written down in full.
Calm, on purpose
Soft colours that are kind to tired eyes, no noise and no pressure. Everything here is designed to lower your shoulders, not raise them.
Fair to therapists
Therapists set their own prices and hours, see exactly what they keep, and are never asked to fund our growth from their earnings.
Safety comes first
Help for an emergency is one tap away on every page, contact details are kept out of conversations, and a concern is always looked at by a person.
Ndụ bụ isi.Whenever you are ready.
Take the first step, or simply look around. Nothing is asked of you until you choose.
